HUMAN/RIDER:

Name: Ashraf Salib
Age: 25
Gender: male
Height: 6'1"
Nationality: Egyptian
Personality: Ashraf is respectful, well spoken, polite, and calm at… almost all times. He had a temper in his youth that he likes to pretend he's conquered, but that isn't always true. He prefers to deal with strife by being composed and firm, but disrespect, uncouth people, or wanton violence can make that temper flare up again and bring out the shouting and wild gesticulating. But in all times he is a pacifist, and tries never to resort to violence. He's very people-savvy, and good at detecting lies and scams, which are met with heavy disapproval. People genuinely out to help others and be the best they can are the ones most likely to earn his affection and loyalty.
History: Ashraf has always wanted to be a doctor, the better to help others, since his mother passed away of an illness when he 10. But medical training is always expensive, and his family was never a rich one. So he struck out for America, whose stories of the gold rushes and the ample opportunities to make a new life had made it even to his small town in Egypt, hoping to earn enough to further his education and become a respected doctor.
Misc: No physical combat skills what so ever. He carries a gun, but it's for show, and he's not even sure how to load it.


BATTLE DINO/MOUNT:

Name: Bessy
Gender: female
Species: Pentaceratops
Height: 27 feet long, 6 feet at the shoulder (10 with the frill)
Misc: After arriving in the west, Ashraf knew he should probably buy a dinosaur if he was going to compete in this tournament. Unfortunately, on the day he showed up at the ranch there was a stampede. Every single dinosaur had escaped with the exception of old, slow Bessy, who could never be encouraged to do anything useful, and had been more interested in finishing lunch than trampling the fence and escaping. They practically paid him to take her off their hands.


PET:

Name: Andromeda
Gender: female
Species: Stegoceras
Height: 5 feet long, 2.5 feet at the shoulder.
Misc: Unruly, violent, and always eager to ram anything in sight, Ashraf isn't exactly fond of Andromeda. Unfortunately, after finding her wandering around on the outskirts of his hometown, he just can't seem to get rid of her. She took an immediate liking to him, is terribly defensive of him despite her small size, and refuses to even let him out of her sight for long. It would be touching if it weren't so annoying.
